EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will arrive to Belgrade on Friday for a one-day visit.
This has been announced on his website, Tanjug reported on Tuesday.
The agency cited the EWB website to add that Hahn will meet with top Serbian officials.
He will also hold an open discussion with the members of the National Convention on the EU on the topic, “EU – Serbia: a strategic partnership for the future”.
This visit “can also be seen in light of the support from Brussels due to a new round of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, considering that the EC will not publish its progress report this year on the countries that are trying to become members, but will do so in the spring of next year,” according to EWB.
