Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says Pristina has not applied for UNESCO membership because they are not certain of sufficient support.

“Their interpretation is that they can file the request at the General Conference itself, because the last time their request passed in the Executive Committee. That’s such a mess. Let them try? I’m not provoking anyone,” Dacic told RTS.

Those who have recognized Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence wanted to see a weak Serbia in the Balkans – but they won’t succeed, he said.
