Majda Krsikapa has resigned as head of the Serbian Anti-Corruption Agnecy – this body announced on its website.

As stated, the resignation was submitted during a phone conference, while the same session unanimously appointed Verka Atanaskovic as the Agency’s acting director.

The meeting also agreed to announce, during the Agency’s next session, a job competition for the new director.

The agency was in the public spotlight most recently in late September, concerning the case of an apartment purchased by Minister Aleksandar Vulin.

At the time, Krsikapa said that the agency had done “everything that was in its jurisdiction” concerning the case.
