Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that Russia cannot engage in the dialogue because it has long since withdrawn from the Kosovo issue, that the issue of recognition of Kosovo is more important than ZSO formation and stated that he respects Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, although he has not met him in person.
Haradinaj, in the show “Slobodno srpski”, broadcast on the network of Serbian television stations in Kosovo and Metohija, pointed out that Russia cannot engage in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina because as he said, unlike America, it has long since withdrawn from the Kosovo issue.
“Russia has no role here and it is neither necessary nor acceptable to bring someone who has no role and who is not involved”, he said.
According to him, on the other hand the United States has been involved in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina the whole time, and added that they seek greater commitment from Washington in the dialogue.
“We are seeking their attention on this issue, it is very important. They are here, but because of what is happening on the world scene, we are seeking their attention to be a priority. Otherwise, my request has only one goal: do not leave this region unresolved. We have not finished the job. If we started it, then let’s finish it, this is the only agenda and there is nothing else”, explained Haradinaj.
