Serbia’s top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic has confirmed that recently Czech tennis player Radek Stepanek will join his team.
Stepanek joins Andre Agassi on Djokovic’s coaching team.
“Radek is one of my very close friends on the tour and I was always impressed with his level of determination, passion and love for the sport… I am excited to join our forces together and cannot wait to compete again having a new team to back me up,” Tanjug quoted Djokovic as saying.
The Serb has been without a permanent coach ever since he sacked his entire team, led by Marian Vajda and Boris Becker.
By the end of this season, Djokovic dropped out of the ATP top ten for the first time in about a decade.
