Through the Office of EULEX in Belgrade, Pristina delivered on Friday documentation in connection to the murder of GI SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic to the Ministry of Justice.

As “Vecernje Novosti” learned at the Ministry of Justice, documentation contains autopsy report and a record of the investigation and was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime.

The Prosecution requested on the day of the murder of Ivanovic in Kosovska Mitrovica, on January 16, that the Kosovo authorities provide copies of the records of the investigation, photo documentation from the crime scene, as well as other information that could be of significance for the clarification of the crime. After ten days, on January 26, the Prosecution sent another request for mutual legal assistance, requiring more evidence.

The deputy of the regional commander of the Kosovo Police Beshim Hoti said for “Vecernje Novosti” that the investigation continues with full dynamics:

“After the first phase – taking statements from all who have any information, the forensic agency is in the procces of analyzing evidence gathered. In addition to shells found on the crime scene, footage of the security cameras and captured material are also being analyzed.”
