What is InSerbia?
The InSerbia Network (“InSerbia”) is an independent, non-profit, volunteer-run organization (Click here for more information). We are not funded, endorsed nor supported by:
- The Serbian Government;
- Governments of other countries;
- Political parties;
- NGO’s; or
InSerbia relies solely on public and volunteer support, which is critical to our success and mission to remain independent.
Our Values and Code of Conduct
InSerbia’s core value is ethics. We strive to conduct all our operations in accordance with the highest ethical standards, as outlined in InSerbia Ethics Policies. Volunteers must conduct their personal affairs and manage their business transactions in a manner that does not result in adverse criticism from the public, or compromize in any way, the Network’s reputation as a responsible organization. InSerbia expects its volunteers to apply sound judgment and ethical standards, and refrain from any form of illegal, dishonest, or unethical behavior.
As stewards of InSerbia and its mission, we must uphold the public trust at all times, and act in accordance with ethics and our values above all else. Our values are:
- Openness and Honesty;
- Accountability and Responsibility;
- Fairness; and
These values are consistently upheld in all our operations: governance, fundraising, mission implementation, legal matters and human resources.
All those who serve in an executive capacity at InSerbia shall:
- Place InSerbia above all other interests, financial or otherwise;
- Disclose any actual or perceived conflict of interest; and
- Act in the best interest of InSerbia at all times.
Working together to achieve our mission, through dignity and respect, one story at a time.
