BELGRADE – Folk music singer Usnija Redzepova died in Belgrade at age of 70 after a long battle with lung cancer. She will be remembered by many songs with southern rhythm.
Usnija Redzepova was born in Skopje on February 4th 1946. She celebrated the music of southern Serbia with her authentic style, and she received recognition of her superb contribution to the national culture in 2012.
She performed at the National Theatre in Belgrade for 25 years.
Usnija will be buried in her hometown of Skoplje.
